A Grant for Meals at Estação Vida
Food and fuel prices are climbing across the United States, and beef has been hit especially hard. This isn't just an American problem. Brazil is facing the same price surges, which makes life harder not only for lower-income families, but also for the organizations working to support them.
That's why we provided a US$500 grant to Estação Vida, a community center in Uberlândia, Brazil, to help purchase beef for meals for the children they serve. This grant will provide weeks of nourishing food for the kids enrolled at the center.
The photos below are from a recent overnight camp at the community center, where children took part in a range of activities together. We're grateful for the work Estação Vida does to give these kids a safe, positive space to be themselves, learn, and have fun.
